Anonymous Compromises United States Sentencing Committee Website

As of the night of January 25, Anonymous has defaced the front page of the United States Sentencing Committee’s website.  The posting (and video) explains that several documents full of compromising material has been encrypted and put into other hacked webpages for download, and that if their demands for the reformation of the US Justice System aren’t met, they will release the key required to decode the files.  They also stipulate that this set of information (named “Warhead-US-DOJ-LEA-2013.aes256“) is only their first “Warhead”.  Theories of disinformation and false-flag operations have also surfaced, in wake of a recent controversy over leaked emails that may implicate a British Private Defense Contracting Agency in the killings of Syrian civilians, and the possible smuggling of chemical weapons into Syria.

No further information has been released at this time.
