Call for Speakers for Unite 12, an event taking place in Amsterdam this august has opened submissions to people who wish to speak at the show. Submissions are accepted all the way through to 20th April.
Unite 12 is a time where developers from around the world can come together and exchange ideas and techniques for use in the Unity Development platform. Speakers are chosen from Unity’s community of developers, and these speakers are the ones which Unity Technologies, the provider of the game engine, feel have the experience and valuable knowledge which should be shared among the community. Speakers receive a free pass and most of all exposure for them and their companies.
David Helgason, the CEO of Unity Technologies has this to say. “Unite is the event that we most look forward to every year and a large part of our excitement comes from the many amazing sessions given by our community,” adding that “It’s awesome to see so many members of the community involved in teaching others how to better take advantage of the Unity engine and tools.”
Submissions are evaluated based on how relevant and how much teaching potential Unity Technologies feels the person has, more consideration is given to those with new and exciting development techniques.
Speaker submissions for Unite 12 will be open through April 20, 2012. Those interested in becoming a speaker can begin the submission process by visiting the submissions site found here: http://unite2012.unityproposals.com/.
